Statutory right of withdrawal — 14 days

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or bear any penalty (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

Our commercial commitment — 30 days to change your mind

We go beyond the statutory period: you have 30 days to change your mind, instead of the 14 days provided by law. In accordance with Article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code, the direct cost of returning the product is at your expense.

Conditions: the item must be unworn and undamaged, in its original condition and packaging.

How to proceed

Write to us at contact@lafirkin.com, stating your order number.
We give you the return address and the steps to follow. Return shipping costs are at your expense; keep your proof of postage, as this is what counts.
Drop the parcel off at the indicated point.

Refund

The refund is issued to the original payment method, no later than 14 days after the return has been received and checked. No fee is withheld.

Exchange

Would you prefer another colour or another model? Write to us: we will arrange the exchange; the cost of returning the original item is at your expense, and we cover the shipping of the new item.

Faulty or non-conforming item

If the item you received is damaged or does not match your order, contact us with a photo. The legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) applies for two years: repair, replacement or refund, at our expense.

Withdrawal form

You may use the following template, though you are not required to:

“For the attention of La Firkin, Lausanne, Switzerland — I hereby give notice of my withdrawal from the contract for the sale of the following item: [reference]. Ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Consumer's name: [...]. Address: [...]. Date: [...].”
