The story
The jelly bag, reimagined.
La Firkin explores a simple idea: what happens when light becomes part of the bag itself?
Born of the jelly bag world, the Jelly Firkin drops the plasticky feel of its elders for a structured silhouette in frosted TPU — supple and translucent. Scalloped flap, padlock-style clasp, topstitched round handles, key charm: the codes of the city bag, translated into a material that behaves like no leather.
In the light, colour no longer simply dresses the bag. It passes through it — and lands on the ground.
The material
TPU · translucency · light
Not PVC. Not faux leather. Something else. TPU — thermoplastic polyurethane, the material of technical gear — stays supple and keeps its clarity and shape, without yellowing or stiffening like the PVC of 2000s jelly bags.

Translucent
Light passes through the material and casts its colour on the ground.

Frosted
A satin translucency that hints without ever revealing everything.

Water-resistant
Rain, sand, splashes: a damp cloth is all it takes.

Every shade is dyed through the material: the colour runs through the wall rather than sitting on the surface.
