The material
It is water-resistant. Genuinely.
TPU is a flexible thermoplastic: rain runs off it, a splash wipes away, and the material does not soak up water the way a leather would.

The construction
Classic codes, transposed
Nothing was simplified along the way. The clasp pivots and locks, the handles are topstitched one by one, the key hangs from its charm.
