Sales to consumers residing in France are governed by French consumer law, in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 known as “Rome I”.
Article 2 — Purpose
These general terms and conditions govern all sales concluded on this website. Any order implies their unreserved acceptance.
Article 3 — Products
Our items are described with the greatest accuracy. The photographs are as faithful as possible; slight variations in shade may appear depending on your screen settings and do not engage our liability.
Article 4 — Prices
Prices are displayed in the currency of your delivery country, all taxes and all charges included. Delivery is free on all orders, with no minimum purchase. The price displayed at the time of the order is the final price: no additional amount will be requested from you on receipt.
Article 5 — Order
The sale becomes final upon validation of payment. A confirmation e-mail summarising your order is sent to you.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is made by bank card, electronic wallet or PayPal, via a secure connection. We never have access to your full bank details.
Article 7 — Delivery
Your order is shipped within 24 business hours after validation of payment. Estimated delivery time: 4 to 9 business days, from validation of payment to receipt, by express carrier, for mainland France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States. For Switzerland: 6 to 9 business days, as this country is not served by our express network. A tracking number is provided to you. In accordance with Article L216-6 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of delay you may terminate the contract if delivery does not take place within a reasonable additional period.
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal and returns
You have the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code), without having to give reasons for your decision. We go beyond the statutory period and grant you 30 days. In accordance with Article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code, the direct costs of returning the product are borne by you. The product must come back to us unworn, undamaged, in its original condition and packaging. See our Shipping & Returns page.
Article 9 — Legal guarantees
All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, two years) and from the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). These guarantees apply independently of any commercial warranty. If the product is defective or not in conformity, the return costs are entirely borne by us.

Article 11 — Disputes and mediation
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority: write to us at contact@lafirkin.com, we reply within 24 business hours.
If no amicable solution is found, you retain all of your rights. You may bring the matter before the competent court of your place of residence and use the out-of-court consumer dispute resolution mechanisms provided by the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms restricts those remedies.
