Le Portefeuille fits in the palm: twelve centimetres, two folds, a tab slipped through its slot that closes it without a clasp. No metal on the front, nothing that shines: the grain, the stitching, the colour.
It is cut from full-grain cowhide leather, grained — the top layer of the hide, the one that carries the natural grain and develops a patina over the years. Open it: one side for cards, with several layered slots; the other for coins, closed by a zip; and a note pocket. It arrives in its box.
