Is the Héritage made of leather?

The Héritage is made of PU, a very good-quality faux leather: light and easy to live with, it is cared for with a soft, lightly damp cloth. The material is worked with an embossed reptile grain and lined with a woven fabric. Would you like real leather? We have La Duchesse in cowhide leather (22 or 25 cm, €94 or €104) or Le Firkin in full-grain cowhide (25, 30 or 35 cm, €104 to €134).

What is an embossed reptile grain?

“Embossed” means the grain is pressed into the material in relief, not printed on top of it: you can feel it under the finger. That is what gives the Héritage its way of reading light in touches, scale by scale, where a printed pattern sends the light back all at once.

What are the dimensions of the Héritage, and what fits inside?

31 cm wide, 15 cm deep, 25 cm high, for 800 g. It is a full-day format: the diary, the book, the pouch and the essentials all fit together without the bag losing its line.

Is it worn on the shoulder or crossbody?

Both. The strap adjusts for a short shoulder carry or a crossbody carry, and the wrap-over flap closes in either position.

Why is the Héritage opaque?

It is the deliberate counterpoint to the translucent line. Where the Jelly Firkin plays on light and colour, the Héritage looks for depth: muted autumn shades, an opaque material, a grain that catches. Two ways of carrying the same silhouette.
