Jelly Firkin Brands Compared: An Honest Market Guide

Sac Jelly Firkin coloris Cherry en TPU translucide — comparatif des marques de jelly firkin

Around ten brands now sell a jelly firkin. Prices run from thirty to three hundred, for objects that look identical in a photograph. Here is what actually separates them — read off each brand's own catalogue on 9 September 2026.

The one check that decides everything: TPU or PVC

Before the colours, before the price, there is the material. Two plastics share this market and they do not age the same way.

PVC is cheaper to produce. It is stiff, it yellows in the light, and it hardens in the cold — a PVC bag left in a car over winter can split along a fold.

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) costs more. It stays supple when cold, does not yellow, and takes folds without whitening. It is the material of technical equipment.

A brand using TPU says so. When the product page stays vague — “plastic”, “jelly material”, “vegan” and nothing else — it is almost always PVC. The full comparison is here.

The landscape, brand by brand

Read off each brand's public catalogue on 9 September 2026. Currencies are quoted as they stand: converting them would give false precision, since rates move and shipping differs.

Firkin Jelly — France, in euros

The best-ranked brand on Google in French. Jelly firkin bag in TPU at €79.99, a wide range of colours and formats, charms at €12.90. This is the only competitor directly comparable to ours: same currency, same market, same material.

Jellova — United States, in dollars

Two distinct lines, and the distinction matters. The “Mood” models are PVC at $78. The patterned “Jelly Firkin” models are TPU, $128 to $158. A brand that takes its editorial content seriously, with a well-stocked journal.

Azure Archive — Australia, in Australian dollars

PVC, A$185 in medium, A$225 in large. The highest positioning among the independents. Listed by Grazia at £99 on the British market.

Dear Nikola — in dollars

PVC, around $80 depending on the model, across a range that goes well beyond the jelly firkin.

Hello Flower Child — United States, in dollars

A very broad catalogue, $69 to $300, with mixed materials: PVC, TPU and synthetic leather depending on the piece. Check the material model by model.

The high-street names

Grazia listed, in August 2026: GAP at £31, Jello Society at £77, Essentiel Antwerp at £105, Telfar × Melissa at £107, Farm Rio at £290. The jelly bag is no longer a niche.

Where we sit

We may as well write it plainly, this being our own journal: the Jelly Firkin is TPU at €53.90. The Mini is €45.00, Le Firkin in full-grain leather €69.90. Eleven models, twelve colourways.

Against the only direct comparable — Firkin Jelly, same currency, same material, same market — the gap is €26 on an equivalent bag.

What we do not offer, on the other hand: we have no physical shop, and our stated delivery is 4 to 9 working days. A marketplace will get it to you faster.

Check it yourself, in three minutes

We would rather you did not take our word for it. The method we used is public and you can run it on any shop:

  1. The material. Search the product page for “TPU”. Absent, or replaced by “plastic” and “vegan”: assume PVC.
  2. The dimensions. A brand that knows its product publishes length, depth and height. Ours are here, model by model.
  3. The final price. Add shipping and check whether tax is included. A $78 bag with $20 shipping and duty on arrival is not a $78 bag.

What this guide does not say

It does not say which brand is “best”. A $78 PVC bag delivered in two days may be exactly right for one summer. This guide only says what you are buying, at what price, and in which material — so the comparison happens on equal terms.

Prices and ranges move. This reading is dated 9 September 2026; if you find a discrepancy, write to us and we will correct it.
